Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 May 2026 · Applies to ecomlinx.com and the EcomLinx SaaS platform

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember preferences, and collect usage data. Cookies can be session-based (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (remain on your device until they expire or are deleted).

We also use similar technologies such as local storage (used for your cookie consent preferences). The same rules apply.

2. How we use cookies

EssentialEssential cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the website and platform to function. They enable authentication, protect against CSRF attacks, and store your cookie consent choice. You cannot opt out of essential cookies - without them the service cannot operate.

AnalyticsAnalytics cookies - Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website - which pages are most visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This helps us improve the site. GA4 is configured with Consent Mode v2: no analytics data is collected until you accept analytics cookies. We do not share this data with third parties for advertising purposes.

Legal basis: Legitimate interests (website improvement) - only active after your consent.

MarketingMarketing cookies - Meta Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure how effective our advertising campaigns are. When you click one of our ads and later visit our site, the Pixel records this so we can understand which ads led to sign-ups. The Meta Pixel is only loaded after you accept marketing cookies - it is not present on the page by default.

We do not show ads within the EcomLinx platform. Marketing cookies only affect what you may see on Facebook and Instagram outside of our site.

Legal basis: Consent.

4. How to manage your cookie preferences

Via our cookie banner: You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the button below.

Via your browser: You can also delete or block cookies directly in your browser settings. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the EcomLinx platform.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data

Google Analytics opt-out: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent GA4 from collecting data across all websites.

Meta ad preferences: You can manage how Meta uses data for ads in your Facebook Ad Preferences.

5. Third-party cookies

We do not use third-party advertising networks or data brokers. The only third-party cookies set by our site are Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel, both described above. We do not sell your data to any third party.

If you embed EcomLinx widgets on your own website, those pages are subject to your own cookie policy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new cookies or change how existing ones work. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, post a notice on the site.

7. Contact
